Although "Christmas#1" (because there will be others) has been specifically designed for use on a 1024X768 screen, it should work (with a little tweaking) on an 800X600 screen as well, and uses tables to keep the text neatly in the middle, where it belongs...

This set is called "Christmas#1", because I intend to make quite a few more, thanks to Jaguarwoman. From one of her latest offerings, I picked up a link to a fabulous source of free wallpapers and matching tubes at Jane's Place and immediately went on a downloading spree.  So there you go - as I said, expect more beautiful Christmas-y sets and desktop calendars soon!
